Our Madrassa is called “Shahjalal Latifiah Academy”. It is an after school institution ie children attend here after their daytime school. We cater for children from the age of 5 years to 15 years. Children who want to learn about Islam and learn to perform wadu, salat, reading the holy Quran are most welcome to attend our Madrassa. The children are divided into small groups depending on their level of learning and taught by one teacher. Children get group lessons and 1-2-1 lessons every day.
Areas of learning covered are:
Qaida/ Arabic alphabets and reading.
Suras, doa and salat
Reading the Holy Quran
Tajweed
Islamic history
Hifzul Quran (will start very soon)
Aqaid (will start very soon) Fiqh (will start very soon)
Pupils are regularly tested and formal exams take place twice a year ie half yearly and annual.
Parents receive a formal feedback and report from the teachers.
